Texas Ranchers Roundup - MLP Mid-Season Tournament Recap

Congratulations to the Texas Ranchers, who finished 3rd and took home the bronze in a thrilling MLP mid-season tournament!

Quang Duong, Tina Pisnik, Etta Wright, and Christian Alshon of the Texas Ranchers

While this tournament doesn’t count towards overall MLP standings, it is a huge success for the club, as this was the first tournament with Christian Alshon back from injury as well as the first with Quang Duong officially taking part as a full-time Rancher.

In what was one of the best games from the weekend, the Ranchers men’s team of Alshon and Duong took down Ben and Collin Johns in an incredibly hard fought 28-26 match. Check out this highlight reel point from Alshon and Duong, and view the entire match here to watch some great professional pickleball.

Additionally, after dropping game two 0-3 against their rivals Dallas Flash Pickleball, the Ranchers reversed their rivalry fortunes with a 3-2 Dreambreaker win over Dallas Flash Pickleball to win third place on the weekend! Amazing job team!
